Prayer Meeting for Lubbock Pastors

Pastors, it is good for brothers (and sisters) to dwell together in unity.  It is even better when we gather with the purpose of prayer!  For the church in Lubbock to thrive, the city pastorate must be healthy.  We are gathering on Wednesday, January 15th at noon for the purpose of praying for the impact of the church in the city with a focus on pastors and churches being empowered, inspired and directed by our Lord and Great Shepherd, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit.

Details: We will begin at 12:00 at 16504 County Rd 1560, Wolfforth TX, in the Chapel of the Barn Ministry. When you enter the property, go past the first building and there will be parking near the back buildings.  You will see the chapel at the end of the drive.  Come early, if you like to see the rest of this retreat center designed to refresh and renew pastors, at no cost to the pastor. Our host is pastor Michael Page, formerly of First Church of the Nazarene, Lubbock.

After our meeting, those who wish to get lunch together will gather at Evie Mae's Barbeque in Wolfforth, just a few miles away from the retreat center.  Participation is optional and at your own expense.

In our prayer time, we will be looking to Jesus as our model as Chief Shepherd and praying for His blessing to make us like Him.  The next opportunity to pray together as a whole city will be Wednesday, April 9th at noon.
