A Tribute to Our First Responders

Two organizations, Lubbock Unity in Action and His High Impact, spearheaded by Myrna Weaver, along with pastoral leadership from Larry Brooks, Community Baptist Church, Hiawatha Culver, Rising Star Baptist Church, Tim Mendez, The Dwelling Place Church, and Lowell Owens, Second Chance Church are inviting you to say "thank you" to our first responders.

The event, designs to celebrate our faith, family, and freedom and honor our first responders, will include presentation of Plaques to Department heads, musical selections by the Federation of Choirs, and offerings of prayer over our first responders, their families, and the next generation of first responders.  Emergency vehicles will be available in the parking lot following the event along with food trucks.

This free event will take place in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Theater, 1501 Mac Davis Lane on Saturday, October 24 from 10am to 12pm.
