May 5 - Spiritual Freedom in our Schools and Educational Systems

Monday - Schools and Educational Systems

Week 1 - Spiritual Freedom

Desired outcome for today’s prayer: The enemy is the father of lies and the arena of education is especially susceptible to man’s philosophies masquerading as Truth. Our target is to bind the schemes of Satan which bring confusion, deception, and destructive behavior to people in education.  II Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Prayer issues for today:

• Pray for protection for everyone who is praying today (the enemy opposes this kind of prayer).

• Pray for holy constraint and curtailment of evil-motivated activity in school such as lying, cheating, back-stabbing, gossiping, drug-dealing and that students won’t be snared by these temptations.

• Pray that spiritual counterfeits such as Wicca and other false religions in which the devil prowls like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour, will diminish in its power to appeal to students.

• Declare, in Jesus’ name, that any hexes, vexes, spells, and curses placed on any of our students, teachers, administration and staff be declared null and void.

• Pray that humanism and godless curriculum that revolts against the knowledge of Christ would be diminished and give way to a Biblical world view.

• Pray for godly strength and victory on behalf of students who are attacked by a spirit of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, hopelessness, that surfaces in students being rebellious, unmotivated, secluded,

• Pray that a spirit of violence causing unrest and a disruption of peace, not prevail, and ask for protection on all our city’s campuses from acts of violence and terror.

• Pray regrading health dangers in our schools such as STD’s, eating disorders, addictions to drugs, alcohol, nicotine and ask that a spirit of personal unruliness would be overcome by self-control.

• Pray for freedom in our schools from child abuse and any form of a spirit of aggression that attacks and overpowers students of weaker stature.

• Pray for the protection and strengthening of girls in school, especially those who believe lies regarding their self-image such as: they lack beauty, they lack ability, they lack opportunity, they lack intelligence that leads to poor self-esteem and even gender confusion.

• Pray for protection and reinforcement regarding students who face college campus personnel who are hostile toward faith in Jesus.

• Pray for minority students in our schools who believe a lie that they are unworthy or unable to achieve educational goals and pray that any ungodly attitudes of educational staff that reinforce these lies be exposed, confessed and corrected.

• Pray for common sense to prevail regarding the presence of explicit and immoral material in our school libraries.

• Pray for resolution and removal of roadblocks to establishing Christian Chaplains on our campuses.

I Timothy 6:20, 21 "O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called 'knowledge'-- which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you."
