Week 1: Spiritual Freedom and Warfare Prayer

Desired outcome of today's prayer: Freedom for our community from Satan's devious destruction of families and Individuals due to propagated lies that are contrary to Truth and God's Word. (John 8:44 "...Satan is a liar and the father of lies.)

When praying today, we have these in mind:  Traditional families, blended families, single-parent families, grandparents raising grandchildren, dysfunctional families, families with teenagers, families with infants and children, families who are pregnant, parents with empty nests, pastor’s families, home school families, families recently experiencing death or tragedy, families with members in the hospital, singles, grandparents, fathers, mothers, teenagers, children, infants, the unborn, nursing home residents, pregnant and un-wed girls, college students, homeless, those who have disabilities, families who live below or near the poverty line, individuals with addictions, those physically ill, those contemplating marriage, individuals in institutions, incarcerated individuals, individuals who are of an ethnic minority, individuals who are sexually disoriented and/or have gender dysphoria, individuals contemplating suicide, those in depression, those incarcerated, families in transition due to job change, divorce, or death, etc  

Pray for the binding of Satan’s lies that propagate these issues:  

• Infidelity in marriage stemming from neglect, busyness, or covetousness  

• Breakdown of families through divorce, co-habitation, lack of experiencing a Biblical marriage  

• Strained parent/adolescent, parent/pre-teen, parent/child relationships, that divide mom and dad   

• Redefining and exchanging Biblical marriage for same sex loving, consensual, monogamous partnerships  

• Spirit of Rejection – Satan’s lie of self-loathing and feelings of worthlessness that destroy self and family  

• Spirit of Poverty – Satan’s lie that one’s value lies in what one possesses impacting self and family  

• Spirit of Spiritual Adultery – Satan’s lie that all spiritual pursuit is equally good tearing apart the unity of the family  

• The lie of “safe sex” outside of marriage that can result in STD’s, low self-esteem, and destructive soul ties  

• Spirit of Desperation that comes over unwed, pregnant girls and married women not wishing to be pregnant    

• Women and girls now tormented by the enemy with condemnation because they have taken the abortion option   

• Spirit of Condemnation the enemy heaps on people when they have not upheld purity vows  

• Spirit of Addiction over boys and men entangled in pornography  

• Spirit of Isolation that can be associated with single parenthood   

• Spirit of Resignation associated with chronic poverty, alcoholism, substance abuse, gaming/gambling addiction, sex addiction, physical abuse, emotional abuse, physical and mental illness within a family  

Rom 8:1 – There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
