Mar. - 26 God's Destiny for the Media and Social Platforms

Wednesday - The Media and Social Networks
Week 4 - God's Destiny
Desired outcome for today's prayer - The media and social networks are the major avenues of communication. We are commanded not to bear false witness, in other words, communicate the truth. Since knowing the Truth will make us free, we are praying that every aspect of our communication with be grounded in Truth. Exodus 20:16 "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."
As we pray, keep the following in mind: TV Station owners, Radio Station owners, Program Producers, Social Media Platform owners, News anchors, Reporters, Meteorologists, Weather Reporters, Videographers, Investigative Reporters, Production Technicians, Public Consumers, Advertisers, Child account holders, Youth account holders Bots, AI, Algorithms, Code writers/developers, National TV Networks, Cable Networks, Syndicated Radio Networks, Texas Tech College of Media and Communication, Advertising Agencies, Christian Radio, Talk Radio, Lubbock Senior Link Magazine
Pray that the Media and Social Networks would have the following characteristics: • That purity and righteousness would be exalted and impure and unrighteousness would not be glamorized in reporting and storytelling
• That there would be a growing disdain for “bearing false witness” in reporting and posting
• That media figures would be “as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves” in their investigations, presentations and posts
• That social media’s potential for unity, compassion and action would prevail and the result would be to encourage one another and build each other up
• That God’s favor would be upon influencers who are truly being used for God’s purpose and for God’s refinement when they stray from God’s will
• That God would Bless all contributors in media with discernment to recognize the good and bad in the industry and use their skills of communication in ways that honor God
Ephesians 4:15 "Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church."
