Pray in the following suggested ways:
• Pray that artists and entertainers find relationship with the One who gave them such great talent and giftings.
• Pray for the conviction (not condemnation) of the Holy Spirit to do God’s intended work of bringing careless people in this industry to their senses and seeing that their craft and be used for God’s glory if they turn to Him for help.
• Pray that worship leaders and worship team members who are skilled musically, but don’t know Jesus, would surrender to the Lord and find and express authentic worship of their personal Lord and Savior.
• Pray for artists and entertainers whose works they produce indicate their personal condition of being apart from God, confused about God, or even in defiance of God, that they would recognize their depravity, confess their emptiness and find fulfillment in Jesus.
• Pray that artists, athletes and entertainers who are lost spiritually, would hear the testimonies of Christians in those fields that would change the trajectory of their talented future toward work that honors God and edifies people.
• Pray for those who create entertainment for children and youth but have no moral compass from God’s Word, that they would realize the sin of leading children/youth astray, turn from that wickedness, find salvation in Jesus and redirect their talents toward God’s will.
• Pray for artists, entertainers and athletes who are privately struggling with self-worth, identity confusion, burn-out, or self-medication to be rescued from their enclosure and find freedom in Jesus
• Pray for organizations like Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Athletes in Action who specifically train and encourage athletes to find their anchor in Jesus.
• Pray for artists and entertainers who have spiritual interest and express that curiosity by exploring the spiritual realm apart from Jesus, that they would not be misled by the enemy’s deceptions and instead find true satisfaction in the spiritual life that Jesus offers.
Matthew 9:36 "When [Jesus] saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd."
