Monday - Schools and Educational Systems

Week 3 - Spiritual Awakening

Desired outcome for today's prayer: To see spiritual awakening (unbelievers responding to Jesus for the first time) occur among students.  A high percentage of Christians have found salvation while they were school-aged, so we pray to see hearts open and responding to Jesus. Ongoing prayer issues for today:

• Pray for the students, faculty, staff, and administrators who don’t yet know the Savior

• Pray for Jesus to overcome the god of this age who has blinded the eyes of the unbelieving, so students, faculty, staff and administrators can see the light of the gospel

• Pray for increase of effectiveness of evangelistic and outreach efforts of student ministries

• Pray for staffing and success organizations like Good News Clubs, backyard Bible clubs and Kingdom Come Ministries whose goal is to introduce children to Jesus

• Pray for effective and engaging campus ministries that challenge the secular world view and leads college students to Jesus and a Biblical world view

• Pray for more Christian students to speak of the Good News so more students will hear the Good News and respond

• Pray for an increase of Bible studies and prayer meetings led by students that they would reach the lost

• Pray that awakenings like what happened at Asbury University in 2023 would happen in campuses across the nation

• Pray for students who attend Christian Schools and Christian home schools who have not made a personal commitment to God that they would not slip by with only a nominal relationship with God

Romans 10:14 "How then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"
