Week 5 - Praise and Thanksgiving
Desired outcome for today's prayer - Gifted artisans have used their craft to glorify God since the building of the Solomons Temple, throughout the early church, and into the present. Just as the mediums of stone, metal, wood, carvings, sculptures, frescos, paintings, vocal and instrumental music, dance, and movies have been used to glorify God, today we want to acknowledge that any beauty that exists in art is because our God is creative and the ultimate of beautiful and we bear His image. Revelation 4:2,3 "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and someone was sitting on the throne. And He who was sitting was like a gasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance."

Praise God for the following expressions which reflect the beauty of God and His creation:
• Praise God for the Psalms, the original expressions in poem and song which enhance our ability to engage with God in a real way.
• Praise God for Hanna’s Song, Mary’s Song, Song of Solomon, and other Biblical examples where the heart is expressed poetically and beautifully, giving voice to our inner thoughts.
• Praise God for current expressions of dance and theater which reflect beauty, grace and demonstration of reverence, submission, gratitude and honor.
• Praise God for modern anointed songs of worship that express the awesome nature of God, the matchless love of Jesus and the indispensable power and work of the Holy Spirit.
• Praise God for corporate worship through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, which cause the worshipper to draw near to God and experience the beauty of His nature and His appealing love.
• Praise God for expressions of the Gospel in wall art, t-shirt art, music art, greeting card art, drama, woodwork, jewelry, coffee cups, especially when they touch those who have not yet embraced the Gospel.
• Praise God for entertainers in music, comedy, drama, rap, and visual arts, who understand they have been created for and given this gift for the glory of God and the advancement of the Kingdom.
• Praise God for song leaders, worship teams, chancel choirs, organists, choir directors, church orchestras, worship center and church architects, pianists, soloists, who understand their talent was given as an instrument for God to draw people to Himself in corporate worship.
• Praise God that the mountains, sunsets, galaxies, oceans which, themselves, declare the Glory of God.
Psalm 150:6 “Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
