Give God Praise for the following uses of media:
• Praise God that impending danger and essential information can be broadcast to countless numbers of people and save lives through media systems and news networks.
• Praise God that the Gospel is known as the Good News and that it speaks life and purpose into every human condition.
• Praise God that Jesus inaugurated the mission of taking the Good News to all nations and how that mission has employed every means of communication including the wonder of multi-media.
• Praise God for Christian Radio and Christian Television that spreads the Good News across the Globe.
• Praise God for The Jesus Film (1979) and many other similar dramatic media productions which attempt to convey the life, salvation and mission of Jesus in multiple languages reaching multiple cultural sub-groups.
• Praise God for instances when secular news media showcases events that contain evidence of God’s presence among us and display His nature and glory.
• Praise God for the speed with which social media platforms can convey needs, inspire prayer for circumstances, and solicit tangible help for individuals in need.
• Praise God for news outlets that use discernment, present the truth, and fight the urge to embellish, sensationalize, or tweak the truth to give people what they want to hear.
• Praise God for the many Christian congregations who effectively use social media to convey opportunities for ministry, deliver sermons and Bible studies to home-bound individuals or people with irregular schedules, and reach people who have never stepped inside their church building.
Romans 10:15 “But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!’”
