Dr. Steven D. Doles

Steve Doles has served as Executive Director of Pray Lubbock since 1999.  He previously served seven years as youth and Christian education pastor at First Christian, Lubbock, and for four years before that, he was the Associate Pastor at First Christian in Greensburg, Indiana. 

Steve is a graduate of Taylor University, Upland, Indiana and has earned Masters of Divinity and Masters of Arts degrees from Cincinnati Christian University, with one year of his masters-level work completed at the Institute of Holy Land Studies, Jerusalem, Israel.  He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California in the spring of 2002.

In addition to Steve's ministry with Pray Lubbock, he has also served as pastor of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lubbock since May 2010.

Steve and his wife, Joy, have been married since 1980 and live in Lubbock, Texas with three of their five children, Tony, Stepheni, Jaquan, Travon and BayLynn.  They moved from Indiana to Lubbock in 1991.
