Announcements:
We-CAN is a non-profit “one-stop-shop” ministry
to the homeless and low-income of Lubbock and
surrounding counties.
Clients are able to access multiple service
providers and faith-based organizations located
under one roof. This approach provides
both accessibility and affordability to clients
who are unable to navigate their way through the
complexities of the social service system.

> There is a great need for Foster Care in Lubbock.
There are options such as basic foster care and
foster-adopt. Three organizations who would be happy
to assist families in your congregation become
foster families are:
Children's Home of Lubbock,
Lutheran Social Services, and
Methodist Children's Home. We also have
packets of information about three organizations in
the Pray Lubbock Office.

Endurance Wilderness Programs assists Churches in
serving youth that have stepped into the cycle of
delinquent behavior and need “Real Help for Teens”.
As a mission organization they offer a number of
nontraditional areas your congregations to serve.
Such as, 1) provide re-supplies in the Gila National
Forest or Big Bend National Park, 2) teach parenting
skills to parents, or, 3) volunteer to assist on
backpacking trips or rock climbing/rappelling
events. Leonard Warren or Larry Farley would be
glad speak with your group about opportunities to
